Would love to know the origin of the phrase "lazy susan," but otherwise this is a truly lovely piece of woodworking. Just the right size for the table and in a shade of brown that is compatible with most decor, this item will be a great help to any household that wants/needs to make either sit-down-at-the-table dining or buffet style serving convenient. The shipping was quick and arrived as we asked-a terrific deal!

It looks quite nice, but disassembled itself spontaneously after turning it a few times. Turning it over, it was clear
that the center mount screw had simply unscrewed when the table was turned. I put it back in and tightened it
properly, but now the table binds and does not turn freely. It is probably simple to fix using a lock washer on the
center mount, this would both give the table bearing room to move without binding and also keep it from unscrewing
again.
Overall, I am satisfied with the result, but unhappy that I had to fix the product to get it to work properly.
